Daily Create #tdc3722

For today’s daily create, the task was to take a line from The Godfather and superimpose it on a scene from Star Wars or vice versa. I used and image from Star Wars and a quote from The Godfather. The Star Wars image is capturing the moment after Vader found out the truth about his son, and tried to bring Luke onboard to the cause of the dark side of the Force. When Luke showed defiance, Vader showcased the levels behind him that Luke was regarding combat and power. To accompany this moment, I used the quote from The Godfather that says, “revenge is a dish best served cold”. I felt the intensity of the image matched the intensity of the quote.

For today’s daily create, it was to show your most loathed vegetable. Show is how you feel about yucky vegetables. We were to make a photo, gif, poster, but bring on your disdain for a vegetable. Or any kind of food. For me I hate mushrooms. The appearance, taste, and texture freak me out. The thought of eating a fungus makes me want to throw up. So, I created a picture thats says “Mushrooms = Fungus” and placed a red X over a photo of mushrooms. Cooked or raw I will not eat mushrooms. YUCK!

Daily Create #tdc3700

For this week’s Daily Create, the task was to explore the (eerie) ai photo generator and find an interesting face. Once you had selected a face, we were to create their existence (give them a name, a location, a role in life). Above is the face I selected off the generator. The moment I saw this non-existent human, he gave me the vibe of a UNE biology professor. I named him Gregory Kaufman. Gregory is the newest biology professor at UNE. In his free time, you can catch Greg ice fishing with his fellow colleges at the pond outside of Soko. Unfortunately, Gregory Kaufman does not exist.

The moment I opened Twitter and saw the title of the Daily Create state, “Put on Your Crazy Sunglasses”, I knew exactly what to post. In December, both the men’s and women’s soccer teams here at UNE held a formal. At formal the guys wear a nice suit or button up and the girls wear a nice dress. However, two of the male athletes along with myself decided to pull up to the formal wearing a fun accessory. The accessory we chose was, the famous Pit Vipor sunglasses. With the large frames and crazy blue color, you couldn’t miss us in the room. The Pit Vipors were a statement piece at formal, so why not incorporate them into today’s Daily Create assignment!

When arriving upon Twitter for the daily create it ended up being February 2, 2022. The idea behind the daily create was to represent the Second Day of the Second Month of the 22nd year of the Second Millennium. An obvious theme revolving around the number two. After scrolling through the Daily Create Twitter page and seeing what others had constructed, I decided I was going to make the number two, out of a bunch of number twos. I went on the internet and collected a variety of different looking and different designed images of the number two. I then opened up a Google Doc and began to construct the number two itself out of the images I collected. I just thought why not follow the big theme of representing the number two, by actually creating the number two out of two’s (thats a tongue twister).
