Demotivate Yourself
This weeks DS106 Assignment was to create a demotivational poster. For mine, I used the word ‘perseverance’. Typically, perseverance is a motivational word, but I paired it with the phrase, ‘at some point, just stop trying’. This phrase makes it demotivational. I scrolled through my camera roll and knew somewhere I’d have a scrapy picture taken during a soccer game. I found the picture above, and knew it fit perfectly with my poster. The image shows me knocking an opponent over. As a forward, she could keep trying to persevere, or just give up, as I was the All-Area Defender of the Year!
